งานชิ้นนี้คือการถ่ายทอดประสบการณ์ ความรู้สึก และความสงสัยต่อคุณค่าและความหมายของการเป็นทหาร เมื่อภาพของ “ทหารหาญ” ที่เด็กหนุ่มชาวไทยได้รับการปลูกฝังและปรุงแต่งเอาไว้อย่างสวยงามรวมไปถึงความมีเกียรติและหน้าที่มอบหมายอันน่าภาคภูมิใจนั้นเป็นเพียงมายาคติที่ขัดแย้งอย่างสิ้นเชิงกับความเป็นจริงและเหตุการณ์ที่ไม่ได้นำมาสู่ “คุณค่า” หรือ “ เกียรติยศ” ใดๆ อย่างที่ทหารใหม่ถูกสอนให้วาดฝัน
This piece of artwork is an attempt to convey experienced, feelings, and doubts about the meaning of being a military official. Thai boys are often imbued with the beautiful and gallant image of the “brave military men” making them yearn to perform their duties proudly. Despite that there are many myths about such ‘honor’ or ‘value’ of being a military official, the reality of which can be starkly different from the image imparted to us.
