รัฐไทยพยายามลบเลือนร่องรอยความสูญเสียและผู้เสียชีวิตจากเหตุการณ์ทางการเมืองในไทยช่วงปี2547 – 2557 ด้วยการเพิกเฉย รวมทั้งความล่าช้าของกระบวนการยุติธรรม แม้จะมีหลักฐานชัดเจนในหลายกรณีก็ไม่สามารถเอาผิดผู้กระทำการเหล่านั้นได้ งานชิ้นนี้คือการสร้างพื้นที่เพื่อรำลึกถึงผู้เสียชีวิต และย้ำเตือนว่าไม่ควรมีการตายจากอุดมการณ์ทางการเมืองที่ต่างกัน
An attempt has been made by the Thai state to erase from people’s memories the losses and the deaths of people during the political crises in Thailand from 2004-2014. Through the dereliction of duties and redundant justice process, despite clear-cut evidence, impunity continues and no one has been brought to justice. The work is a commemoration of the deaths and a reiteration that people do not derive to die from the differences of political ideologies.
